Spring Things…

New collaborating schools and curriculum are “Spring Things” in our Creative Kindergarten Connections program. We can teach and learn just about anything through Art! New lessons will have children viewing the changing seasons through examination of natural patterns in our world and creating their own artworks with snow tracks, a moonlight web, and reflections of Georgia O’Keefe’s flowers. You might find them learning about deep sleepers and light sleepers while they read Hibernation Station and create patterned paper PJ’s on their own hibernation train. The lessons support concepts from physical, earth and space, and life science, and were created collaboratively with ideas from participating Kindergarten teachers in IPS Schools and AWaH staff.
